Also by Mike Jones, is a 2010 book containing some excellent material on how to live the Christian life.  Reprised from the first iteration of this book which he wrote in 1980, Mike is forthright about his divorce and exit from the church, then goes on to include some very helpful chapters on why living the Christian life hasn’t worked for so many and what to do about it.

Sometimes I Don’t Feel Like Praying.

This 2008 book by Mike Jones leads with the story of his exit from his church for 16 years and chronicles his return about 10 years ago.  It also contains many chapters dealing with the challenges of living a Christian life and includes a key nuts-and-bolts chapter (“The Exchanged Life”) on how to go about living a Christian life.   Available at ABCs or from this website.

Seeking His Lost Sheep by the late Fordyce Detamore.  Available at most ABCs, this book is an easy read, full of helpful ideas and anecdotes by one of the all-time greatest reclaimers of church dropouts. May not be ordered at this site, only at ABC store.
